Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Heistag, including heistag.gg, Heistag accounts, Genesis identity features, Season Zero, the Closed Alpha, and other features made available by Heistag.

By creating an account, accessing restricted alpha features, or otherwise using Heistag, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the restricted portions of the service.

Heistag is currently an independent digital project operated in Brazil. It is being developed as an identity, reputation, discovery, and intelligence layer for gaming communities.

The corporate structure and operator of Heistag may change as the project evolves. If that occurs, these Terms and related legal notices may be updated accordingly.

The Heistag Closed Alpha is currently available only to people who are at least 18 years old.

By creating or using a Closed Alpha account, you represent that you meet this eligibility requirement.

Access to the Closed Alpha may also be limited by invitations, capacity, geography, technical requirements, or other product criteria determined by Heistag.

Heistag is under active development. Closed Alpha features are experimental and may contain bugs, incomplete functionality, inaccurate data, interruptions, or substantial changes.

Features may be added, changed, restricted, reset, or removed as we learn from the alpha and develop the product.

Participation in the Closed Alpha does not guarantee continued access to any feature or future commercial service.

You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and for activity performed through it.

You must provide accurate information where accuracy is necessary for a feature, and you must not impersonate another person, creator, organization, community, or server operator.

You must promptly contact Heistag if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization.

A Genesis ID is a Heistag identity identifier associated with participation in the Genesis and Season Zero systems.

A Genesis ID is not a cryptocurrency, security, financial instrument, NFT, or ownership interest in Heistag. It does not guarantee monetary value, investment return, platform governance rights, or future benefits unless Heistag expressly states otherwise for a specific feature.

Activated Genesis IDs are intended to preserve identity continuity. If an account is deleted, an activated Genesis identifier may be retired and withheld from reassignment rather than transferred to another person.

Unless Heistag provides an authorized mechanism, you may not sell, transfer, trade, sublicense, or assign your account or Genesis ID to another person.

Heistag may provide reputation signals, credentials, attestations, verification states, trust indicators, matching information, or similar identity features.

These systems are intended to provide useful context, not an absolute determination of a person's character, reliability, safety, or suitability.

Where practical, Heistag intends to favor evidence-based and verifiable signals and to provide mechanisms for correcting materially inaccurate identity information.

Users and communities must not fabricate credentials, manipulate trust signals, coordinate fraudulent reputation activity, or falsely represent verification by Heistag.

Heistag may offer discovery, matching, rankings, recommendations, trust indicators, analytics, intelligence, or promotional products.

Paid products do not guarantee or purchase organic ranking, trust status, reputation, matching scores, or favorable editorial treatment.

Heistag may clearly identify sponsored or promotional placements separately from organic results.

Attempts to manipulate organic rankings, trust systems, reviews, signals, engagement, or community metrics through deceptive or coordinated activity are prohibited.

Heistag may display information about gaming communities, servers, creators, games, or other public ecosystem participants based on public sources, information submitted to Heistag, operator-provided data, or Heistag-generated analysis.

A community appearing on Heistag does not necessarily mean that the community has a commercial relationship with, has been verified by, or endorses Heistag.

Community operators may be offered mechanisms to claim or verify their presence. Claiming a community does not provide the operator with the ability to purchase organic trust or ranking.

Operators are responsible for information they submit and must have the authority to represent the relevant community or organization.

Heistag may generate aggregated statistics, trends, rankings, market signals, momentum indicators, discovery insights, and other intelligence derived from available data.

Intelligence features may contain estimates, incomplete information, delays, statistical uncertainty, or errors and should not be treated as guaranteed facts, financial advice, or professional advice.

Heistag may change methodologies as data quality and the intelligence system evolve. Where reasonably practical, material distinctions between verified data, declared information, estimates, and Heistag analysis may be identified.

You retain any rights you hold in content and information that you submit to Heistag.

When you submit content, you grant Heistag a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, format, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the relevant Heistag features.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and must not submit material that unlawfully infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

You may not misuse Heistag or use the service to harm users, communities, infrastructure, or the integrity of Heistag systems.

• Impersonating another person, creator, community, company, or server operator.
• Submitting fraudulent credentials, false verification claims, fabricated community data, or deliberately misleading information.
• Harassment, threats, exploitation, unlawful discrimination, or other unlawful abusive conduct.
• Attempting to manipulate rankings, trust, reputation, reviews, signals, analytics, or discovery systems.
• Introducing malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, bypassing security controls, or attempting unauthorized access.
• Using automated systems in a way that circumvents technical controls, overloads the service, or accesses Heistag outside interfaces or permissions expressly provided by Heistag, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
• Using Heistag for unlawful activity or to violate the rights of others.

Heistag may reference or interact with third-party games, platforms, authentication providers, communities, websites, or services.

Unless expressly stated, such references do not mean that Heistag is affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to those third parties.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and technical decisions. Heistag is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.

Heistag's software, branding, original interfaces, designs, systems, documentation, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Heistag intellectual property to users. You receive only the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

Heistag may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, communities, the service, legal compliance, security, or the integrity of Heistag systems, or when these Terms are materially violated.

Where reasonably practical and appropriate, Heistag may provide information about the reason for an enforcement action and a way to request review.

You may stop using Heistag and request account deletion subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

During the Closed Alpha, Heistag is provided on an experimental and as-available basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heistag does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent preservation of alpha data, accuracy of every third-party or intelligence signal, or compatibility with every device or external platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heistag is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting solely from experimental alpha availability, third-party services, community actions, or reliance on clearly identified estimates or non-guaranteed intelligence.

Nothing in these Terms limits responsibility where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Heistag processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at /privacy.

The Privacy Policy explains categories of data, purposes, service providers, retention, security, and privacy rights.

Heistag may update these Terms when the service, business structure, legal requirements, or platform rules change.

Material revisions will receive a new version and effective date. Where appropriate, Heistag will provide additional notice before material changes take effect.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer, privacy, or other statutory rights that may apply to a user under applicable law.
